This year we are known as Narnia Class!
Mrs Pepler is the class teacher in Years 3 and 4 and she is assisted by Mrs. Kirkham. In Term 2, Mr. Walter will be teaching the class every Friday.
As Year 3 and Year 4 children are in the same class their work is carefully differentiated to allow for differences in age, experience and ability. Their learning is linked closely to our big question of the term (see Curriculum: Questioning Curriculum). The Year 4 pupils enjoy working with their younger peers, serving as mentors and taking on leadership roles, whilst the Year 3 pupils grow in stature as they find themselves able to accomplish tasks they could not do without the assistance of the older children.
Each year, the Year 3 and Year 4 pupils benefit from Woodland Learning , giving them the opportunity to develop an inquisitive and positive relationship with the outside world.
