This year we are known as the Giants!
Miss James is our class teacher, supported by Mrs. Meyer.
In year 5 and 6 we take on responsibilities such as house captains and sports captains. We also help to support other classes across the school.
Like children all across the school, we are encouraged to take a responsible attitude to learning by assessing our own work and setting targets for ourselves. As the pupils at the top end of the school we are aware of the demands of the National Curriculum tests, which are taken in Year 6, and work with our teacher in monitoring our progress towards these tests.
We also have the opportunity to take part in a 5 day residential visit every two years. In June 2016 the class stayed at Fairthorne Manor, Southampton.
