We are very privileged to have a fantastic outdoor learning space on site which all children have the opportunity to access. Through this learning experience the pupils develop a lifelong love and understanding of the natural environment, allowing them to develop themselves through healthy engagement with risk, problem-solving and self-discovery.
This alternative learning experience has many benefits including improving self-regulation skills, coping with and learning from failure, gaining a sense of achievement, and improving confidence, resilience and social skills.
The teachers make good use of this space and tailor their curriculum to ensure that the learning is taken outdoors to enrich our offer to the children.
