Sport Relief 2018: Wednesday 21st March 2018

16th March 2018 by Denise Sheppard

At St. Michael’s we are all really excited to be taking part in Sport Relief 2018! As one of the UK’s biggest fundraising events, Sport Relief brings the entire nation together to get active, raise money and change lives.

This year, Sport Relief will be taking place in schools and nurseries between Monday 19th March and Friday 23rd March.  To do our bit and raise money, on Wednesday 21st each class will be participating in a mile challenge.  Pupils will be challenged to complete a mile around our school grounds moving in any way they want to.  They can walk, jog, run, hop, slip, dribble a ball or even scoot.  (children may bring in their scooters if they wish to take part this way).

Pupils are asked to attend school in their best sports clothes for the day, all ready for activity, in return for a £1 (or more) charitable donation.
